I listened to both Richard and Ian who were very helpful/positive and in now way left me feeling i was a poor flyer, quite the opposite. Since Sunday I've used a further 1/2 gallon practising where I wasn't quite there. I'm still ****ed off I didn't get it but that's me, but rest assured it won't be long coming and I'll enjoy pushing that bit harder to get it.

Way to go, Shaun. That's the right attitude, if you don't mind me saying so.

So I cant compete, doesnt change the fact that I can fly better 3d than at least 50% of those who do.

Yep, well done chaps and commiserations to the others. Next time eh?

As for me, I can do my A & B tests at the same time as well as 3D and F3C with a bit of extreme tail in hovering for good measure.

          I just don't want to

Apologies for the late congratulations as I haven't frequented the forum recently
But....Very well done Tim I know how much time and effort you put into practicing the 'B' And it paid off totally. Richly deserved matey

Well done to the other guys on passing Your 'A's And I was really sorry to hear what happened with Your 'B's Jeff & Shaun. You'll be back though lads and it was only your recent work & family commitments that let you down. Not Your skills.
            Cheers,

Been away from the forum most of the week and would like to say a big thank you for your kind words.

A big thanks goes out to Richard and Ian for making the trip up. I have never felt so nervous flying before lol. They are both took time out with us all to make us feel comfortable with what to do.

Shaun and Jeff are not far off at all from the B certs. Next time they will have it cracked. Well done to Tim for suceeding - he has definately put the hours in to earn it. Congrats to Dicky and Carl too for their A certs.

Feels real nice having a certificate now to say I can fly to some standard.

Bring on the B cert hehe.

                  Timmy.

As Mike and others have stated, In the flesh you are a decent lad that's for sure but when you get behind the keyboard you have the "knack" of saying the totally wrong things sadly.

You keep pressing the point about how good at 3D you are and shoving it down members throats everytime you visit this place lately.

All I can say is I will be the first to shake your hand when you actually qualify and get your "B" test acheavment, I also think if you spent a little time practicing it you would breeze through it with ease.

Then whether people like it or not you could brag about how you "Wupped" the best pilots in the UK at 3D competitions.

Until you get your "B" test taken and actually get to the 3D competition your comments are worthless.

Richard Budd (Rainman) is watching this thread so why not ask him if you can join our lads the next time he comes and try again.

Try patching things up instead of creating more trouble.

You will gain more respect that way believe me.

Thanks very much for the offer guys its very kind of you.

Since I regard myself a considerably better pilot than you Richard I'm afraid I dont recognise your authority to examine my flying. Sorry.

I'd love to bring my 450 over sometime and show you how to fly 3d though.

Maybe mate but as youve already said yourself, I'm a better 3d pilot than you. LOL.

You've struck the nail on the head there Timmy when you use the word authority. Richard does have the authority, he has followed the recognised achievement scheme in place in this country through to the end. Passing it with flying colours and more.

He also devotes many hours of his free time to enable other like minded souls to complete the BMFA achievement scheme

Don't think you will find much support for your latest outburst

I tell you what mate, Jamie came 6th in the champs, first time out in his class so have some respect.
Secondally, you need to grow up mate, stop thinking you are the best pilot out there, as you obviously arn't if you can't be precise enough to pass your B test, people are trying to help but all you do is throw it back in peoples faces, as far as i am concerned, you can go play on RR.

Dont get me wrong I really do appreciate the offer and ok I'm being a bit of a nob. I'll admit I'm certainly not the best pilot in the world but I'm better than 90% of fliers even though I've been stuck with inferior and older equipment for years. There are some holes in my flying which I intend to fill.

At the end of the day its down to money. I cant afford to fly that often and when I do I intend to enjoy it by flying 3d.

Be all and end all mate, you need to put in the time to practice for your B test, there is no quick and easy fix around it, without that you won't get in to the champs next year, you have a whole year to sort it out, so spend the winter practicing and then passing it and you still have all summer to prepare for the comp.
I too am hoping to entre the champs next year if i can improve enough over the next 6 months or so, but i still have to do my B test also and am going to sort out a month where i will just practice B test and nothing else, then i will be alot more relaxed in my ability and will also help with nerves.
And again, why put in your post that you are better than 90% of other pilots?????, there is just no need, you have made your point, and by what others have said you are a good pilot but you are never going to get appreciation and respect from your peers with the attitude you have.
Surely if you do get to the champs next year, remember you will be flying in front and along side of all the people you have upset, you need to start rebuilding bridges, and hopefully then you will get cheers and claps when you do your stuff rather than boos

Good on you, I think I've seen you fly in videos you should do well.

Champs is totally out the window as far as I'm concerned.

Being a twat is fun and good for focus so I can back up what I say with actions. I'll post some video some time and look forward to the put downs.

If the rules change I may reassess the situation. Ideally I'd like to enter a micro heli comp (more in my financial league) but I doubt thats going to happen soon. I think it will eventually though as the micro heli market is apparently far bigger than nitros. So you guys may well come across a few more arrogant, self taught and completely 3d motivated micro enthusiasts just like me in future. Muhuhahahaaaa!!

Twice actually mate. Second time I got bored after the first move and did some 3d instead whilst everyone ignored me and looked all dissaproving lol. I've asked Stuart to change my name to remove the B and replace with '3D King', much more appropriate but I dont think hes having it lol.
