2 batteries through the Goosky S1 in the back yard was long enough as its so cold flew great as usual

Well, last Sunday's flying was interesting. First flight of the day with a Tron 7.0 Dnamic and I take off, do a couple of things, flip, bit of inverted etc, then something feels wrong so I hit hold but just as it's starts to sink/auto there's a violent shake then *boom* like it's been shot at & the lifeless heli falls to the ground. All this within about 2mins from plugging in!

I'm pretty sure a grip link broke (pic) as there was a broken one & I can't see anything else amiss. Pretty much everything that sticks out got broke or bent inc the main shaft but amazingly, only a few chips & cracks in the canopy's gel coat, no actual breaks on it at all, go figure! The battery got destroyed (lower frame mounts are sacrificial) so I'm down a pack too.

But, never mind, all part of the hobby!

In the spirit of 'getting back on the horse' I made myself have another couple of flights afterwards but my heart wasn't in it so that was the end of that day's flying.

Had five rather tentative flights with my new Tron 7.0. It seems to be a magnificent machine.

Today I took out the Synergy E7SE and flew it with the speed canopy. I think it looks ace on the ground, but in the air I'm not used to the shape of the speed canopy and it kinda looks the same front and back.
