Good day down at Beelsby. Arrived at 0930, got set up. Left at 1930. Plenty of chin wagging, but managed 11 flights on the 600L and 2 on the Trioblin.
However reached two milestones (for me anyway) today, I did my first tail in inverted hover and the second one is I passed 100 flights for the year!
So working in the left to right forward inverted flight. Brought it infront of me and got it stopped and stable. Then just flicked the tail round to get tail in. Didn't do too bad. It flew away a little. But its the second orientation in inverted that I have done. So I will work on that going forward.
All in all a great days flying!

Great 4 days of flying at the Scottish Heli NATS up here in Aberdeen. Had the pleasure of calling for RichardV from here as he competed in f3n. Some great flying by Richard in high K factor moves and he was rewarded with excellent scores. Thanks for returning the favour for calling my moves, your flying was excellent and hope to meet you again Richard.
Just got back, what a great event. Your flying was awesome, great last round, and you won Top Scot!
I learned a lot, which was the main aim and I'm happy I got a trophy along the way. Fantastic people and fantastic flying site. If I don't see you at one of the events down here, I'll be back next year. I think Ian wants his trophy back
Dropped into the BMFA National Centre for their Early Summer Fly-in.
Fun days flying with the added bonus of coming home with a B certificate. Pretty pleased as I only went with the intention of practicing and it was pretty windy.
Many thanks to my examiners RichardV and Chris Bradbury for their help and encouragement.
Need my laptop sorted before I can sim. I often drive by shhc on dry days in the week and there's ever anyone there? I went by last weekend and there was no one there again? The land owners must be loving their free money.
