Nice sunny afternoon at MK heli. Only one there to start with, so got a couple of flights in on the little Goblin. A couple of quadders arrived, so moved on to the 550, 600, and a speed run on the Forza. Think I might have to put the pitch back to 14 1/2 degrees; it's a little slow since I moved to the neo running 12 degrees.

I was hoping to dial-in the Nex E8 a bit more but was having problems with the tail not holding. I upped the gain but it didn't really help, can't see any mechanical problems. On the way back I had a thoery which I will test a bit later, it could be the pinion slipping on the motor shaft which would cause a dip in headspeed and thus tailrotor speed right at the points when it needs the most thrust. This would also explain why sometimes it seemed to run out of collective pitch even though I know it has plenty (+/- 14). Anyhooo, all part of the hobby.

Did another 25 flights today on the 700L starting to make some good progress with my inverted flying.

No helicopters today but had a lovely hour or so up the slopes with a glider, caught a couple of cracking thermals too!

Five flights this morning but it was a struggle because of intermittent showers. I ended up doing a yo-yo impersonation dashing under trees for shelter, out for a quick flight, then back under the trees when the rain started again. In the afternoon it cleared up and was a real nice day but I had other stuff on, sods law.

Lovely afternoon flying my Warp 360 in the nicest places I've ever flown. Really nice weather and felt good flying today. Lots of inverted and funnels which I'm starting to get down pretty clean.

What lipos are you using in the warp? the nano techs I have for mine are all very high IR and don't work that well!

I've been using Gens ace 1600's 40c. They seem to work well, and give me a good cg - I do have to put them as far forward as possible using the second hole on the canopy though.

i took my Nano CPS with me to Oz. So glad i did. Had an amazing few flights on a lovely patch of grass behind the beach after a swim in the sea.
Amazing.
I made a little video of one flight.
They have so many hobby shops here and they have all been super helpful.
I had to buy a new heli as mine developed so many problems i gave up on it until i get back to the UK and fix it up.
I'm definitely improving with the help of this little nano.
