Finished work by 4.15 ready go flying & by the time I was ready to go I really felt p***ed as I walk out to open the door.............of the fridge.

I got 4 flights today. 2 on the Warp and 2 on the 450L with newly-updated BRAIN and rescue: does what it says on the tin, so I am well pleased. Just have to find time to update the Warp as well.

Got another 12 flights in today. Mostro 700- 2 flights , protos max 780- 2 flights and 8 with old favourite t-rex 500. Auto rotation and piro flip practice, still no improvement there.
Been at flying field 5 times in a week, all in great weather .

Had 6 flights this afternoon to get the last practise in before GR. Went over everything and changed a few bits and now I'm happy with what I have. A great session but now I need to bring the confidence to Grass Roots.

3 flights on my new Goblin 380 KSE. Still tuning basic FBL parameters and it's flying quite nicely. No setup issues so far with 3-blade head.

I was having a lovely time in my new found flying spot on the 200 SRX. It was going so smoothly i decided to try Intermediate mode. Unfortunately I accidently put it into expert mode and had a small bump with some long grass that bent the tail rotor a little.
After bending that back i couldn't get the heli more than 3 feet off the ground! It was flying fine, just couldn't get the thing up in the air!
Very frustrating.
I checked the power was turned up to 200%. but still no altitude.
Maybe the motor? or the ESC? Bit stumped.
Shame as i love the new flying spot.

First attempt at FPV in a 280 quad. Not a great success as the quad is far too unstable in roll and yaw. Not convinced with the Skyline 32 FC yet.

The skyline 32 is as good as any other F3 controller. Electrically, they're all pretty much identical. Gyro chip choice can vary, but the Skyline32 has the Invensense MPU6050 same as most boards. The main differences are in the firmware, and how they're set up.
Stick Betaflight 2.7.1 (or 2.8.1 if it's out) and try it, line of sight at default PIDs. Make sure you turn on Air Mode too.

Honestly, even my little 180 with tiny 4" propellers is rock solid in the air, even when it's windy, and my 5" quad is more stable and predictable than my 700. I'm not even joking.

Bigpops, thanks for that, always happy to learn off others with more knowledge (that's most people). I was tempted to put the video gear on an APM 450 I've got but I'll persevere here a little longer.

Another 15 flights this morning, was out at 6 this morning to get the best of the weather here.
Had 30 minutes in the car at the end waiting for rain to clear a bit so I could get my last 2 12s packs used as it takes forever and a day to get them to storage at home, and I wanted my 2 flights on the Protos Max.
