What a lovely day!
I'm getting more and more confident. I'll be getting the Blade Huey out very soon at this rate. I did some circuits and fast turns that i can't even do on Phoenix!
Thanks to Peteski for some simple but crucial info about my Dx6i that changed everything. I didn't know about dual rates! Made all the difference on my 200 SRx.
I managed to get in some shots too.
Trex 450L Dominator (flown six times crashed twice)
Blade 230s (my hard working trainer)
Blade CPS (for smashing into walls)
Blade SR HUEY (too scared to fly at the moment, the 230s is going to end up in here)
Phoenix Sim

Met up with the fellow chumps and had 5 flights this evening going over the basics, flips and some chest/head height little autos. The wind was in your face and cold on the fingers. Had a little play with a lower head speed which was very calm and enjoyable.
Some pictures of the Chumps flying

After just over a month's break from flying (out skiing) I finally got back to the local field yesterday evening. 4 great flights on my trusty little Oxy 3 and felt quite refreshed. Weather was just perfect, flying in front of a rising moon at sunset. Shame I didn't have my camera with me.SAB Goblin 380 KSE - latest love thang

Too windy to trust me and the 450 but for old time's sake I put a battery through the 130x that should have been consigned to the bin a year ago. It wagged its tail like a wet dog, no surprise there, but I really enjoyed its skittishness whereas a year ago I'd have lost it in seconds. I must be learning something. Flight time to repair time about 1:3, those D-Gears are made of cream cheese. Do I bother spending any more money on it? Maybe one more time.

I celebrated my 200th flight on the OXY 3 this morning
I flew 4 packs, the last being flight no. 200! It was quite breezy out in the field with quite strong gusts at times, but the little OXY is actually pretty stable in wind. It was just the landings that were a little nervous, as my landing spot on the path is very small and surrounded by tall crops. But I took my time and got it down safely each time.SAB Goblin 380 KSE - latest love thang
