Got 3 flights on the Trex in some freakishly warm weather today (20deg?). Hopefully it will be decent again tomorrow!

Met up with Dean and Tony at the field and had 3 flights with the Goblin today. Had a quick "settings check" flight after a rebuild, new swash and radio gear, adjusted to 30% expo and was good to go. Had 2 tame flights and I am very happy with the setup.

Was good to see Dean out with the 5.5 and 700n and even had some extra company with Brian and Darren.

A great afternoon at the field. Hopefully the weather will hold out over the weekend to get some more flights in.

Managed 4 flights this morning with the Gaui X3 in very light drizzle with no incidents so i must be improving.. lol

Only worked on orientation and a little forward flight, i find the smaller heli much harder to orientate when flying side on, but i do find now i have a little more confidence if get into trouble i give it some quick altitude and get the tail back round...

I`m still hugely nervous when i`m flying to, hoping this will improve with practice, i find that the biggest difference between real flying and the simulator!!!

Took the day off so I could fly 3 packs on the X3, 2 packs on the 7HVU. Almost crashed the X3 on the second flight... It is easy to lose orientation with this pocket rocket.

acidla, I have been a member of the forums for some time as you can see from my join date. However I have been mostly lurking during that time. Should have mentioned in my post above that flying my 7HVU is always the highlight of my day... The smaller helis are mostly to get me warmed up for the big event.
