Nope, contacted pretty much the whole club and no one was going, despite hot weather and no wind.
I'm most disappointed. Tomorrow will have to do, though it'll be proper windy.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.
Had a decent morning at the local cricket club
6 flights on the 550dfc and 4 on the 700 with the half piro flips looking better despite the gusty wind, plenty of autos with only one minor incident with the 550 having one bumpy landing
Kyle had a go at fpv with the rest of the quad geeks
went to field on saturday, sorted out Darren Goblin 700 Tail and test flew so now he's happy bunny, today i went down and got a couple in on 700e Dfc weather was very nice. compared to what met office said
Took the gobin out yesterday for 3 flights but kept having dumb thumb for some reason, so landed and called it a day before I come unstuck. Then had 6 on the mcpx and two of those were with 2 turnigy battery's from hobbyking and I couldn't believe the power difference so i'll have to order some more

5 on the Rex 550 and just the one on the new Rex 600, feels nice and smooth-stable with the beastx. Will get the lipo's sorted for next week and give it a proper go.

I got to fly 4 out of 6 packs on the 500 at the field today. The wind was strong but the gusts made it hard work. Almost had a few crashes because as soon as the rota disc was off level the wind took it and landing was quite random, very frustrating but good practise.

Just put a couple of batts through the 550, been waiting for the rain & poor light to move on. Worth the wait though.
Flying inverted backwards circuits & pie dishes-1st time on the 550 much easier than on the 450 (now sold & replaced with a Trx500EFL which has only had 10 batts through it) Probably the thought of its 2nd hand value dropping to almost scrap value now the new Dominators getting launched giving me the balls!
Starting to save for "black Friday" & see what I can pick up later this year. (Thinking 500 Goblin or 480 Mikado)
Rich, the wind is good training, and you lose less time flying over the year by putting up with it
The wind doesn't usually bother me that much, but today it was gusting very strong and those crops were getting closer to eating the 500 lol. The landing "patch" seemed to be the most turbulent spot in the whole county too but like you say all good training and more air time
Hopefully see you up there soon

Glad you got it sorted for him. Is it holding fine in forward flight/ flips and inverted hovers now? I did notice the Goblin had a nervous tail the other week.
