A couple of flights late this afternoon. Cold and not feeling it today but on the upside a couple of moves are shaping up nicely. Hopefully tomorrow's more promising.

Flew my Trex 500 with a motor I got off a club mate (swapped for an ESC). There was a chance it was knackered, and it turns out it was. Almost crashed, but power came back just in time for me to bring it back and land.

Flew my Warp 360 with new aluminium bell crank mount on the tail. The plastic one had been flexing in flight. I noticed it was flying odd, landed it, and the tail boom has cracked all the way round where the tail case is.

Flew my Gaui X3 now with 12T pinion instead or 13T on the 460MX motor. This time my ESC didn't hit the low volt warning, so that was a plus, and it still has stacks of power.

So one out of three isn't too bad.

Tomorrow I'm just taking the big helis and my generator. Should be good. Might take the X3 just in case I fancy a go.

I managed to get to the field today with the 500 and MCPX. A big thank you to Forza for trying to help with a tail issue and for making my flying look bad lol. After 2 setup flights with the 500 I had 3 nervous ish flights. Today was just a fly about with no real goals in mind. This was the first flights after a crash so tried to stick to what I was comfortable with. I still managed some inverted hovering and flight . On the 3rd flight of the MCPX I had a massive wobble and lost control. In it went and it was quite some distance away from me.

After an hour of walking up and down the crops, once I had packed up, I almost trod on it. Luck was on my side as I would of never of found it if I wasn't walking down that particular bit.

I'm so glad I found it, it saved me spending out on a 300x instead! Battery was flat as a pancake, servo gear gone and tail twisted.

Had 8 yes 8! Flights on the 550 today

This is a first for me thanks to Kyle bringing his genny along, charging at the field is a new concept for me, and I must say I like it

Been down to the Eagle RC Heli Club today for their Fun Fly weekend, top place and most of all top people, had a few good flights and a great day out :-)

out today with my new hk 450. just test hover ans setup but al seems good. if anyone out there is thinking about a hk but isnt quite sure i can tell you that they are great. quick and easy to assemble and the whole kit is perfect i cant say one bad thng about it.

Flew early on Saturday morning; 450 went in when the elevator servo failed. Saw 5 hot air baloons quite close to the flying field.

Went to fly again this evening before it got too dark. There were 6 hot air balloons this time, quite low over the town, then one of them landed in the middle our flying field with burner problems, so I had less flights than i planned as I had to wait for them to drag it down to the gate!

Must remember to take a camera...........

Another great day weather spot on had 2 flights with trex 500 cant stop the high pitch noise any idea what causes it any help will be appreciated.
