Brilliant - 5 packs through my logo 500 and 3 flights of 600 too. Loads of inverted hovering but loads of distractions as I could see aircraft in and out of coaches airshow in distance!!

Had probably the best weekends flying, about 15 batteries through my 500 and and 6 through the warp until I spotted one of the tail slider bearings falling apart (flange detached from the bearing, very odd) but nice to find a problem before the crash for a change.

Windy/gusty, at least for me but flew anyway and learnt how to adjust for it, eventually forget about it altogether. Managed to make some good progress on stall turns, fly further away then ever before and higher. Can't beat simply having stick time to make progress.

Had a pretty good session today with the 3g 500 and the trex 450 sports- have to say I've forgotten how much fun flying a flybarred machine is handled the breeze really well and came home with a massive grin and no busted heli's too !!.

Weston selling the warp metal tail sides which hold the bearings better than the carbon ones which wear after a while. I had to use some lynx 130x main shaft shims to remove slop after I fitted them.

I sure did, I couldn't let a nice day like this slip away, I took my new mini titan sports fbl up and threw it around a bit, it's like a rolls Royce compared to my other helis, I'm not sure if it's because its fbl but it's so so stable I even had time to keep squashing the gnats landing on me, it really feels like it's on rails. Also managed to tidy up my flips on the mcpx and nano, even had the nano hovering inverted for around 10 seconds :-) awesome few hours.

due to work I was completely knackered yesterday so didn't go to the field at all and tried to catch up with some sleep ... anyways, as I am flying out in the afternoon to wear the guys where skirts I woke up early, as usual when I fly ... packed my luggage and stumbled over my battery case at 8.15 ... well all packs where fully charged and I even had new Haiyin 6S 5000s I wanted to try on my 700 ... took the opportunity, loaded the car up and went to the field.

Reached at the filed at 8.45 - had a quick snack, did my preflight checks on the 550DFC, loaded, up in the air - was a bit gusty but quite nice actually, enjoyed it - brought her in, next pack and same procedure ... after 4 flights she had served me well so I did my post flight checks, cleaned her and put her back into her bag and into the car ...

Preflight checks on the 700 flattened the old packs first - so after 3 superb flights I brought her in - did I say superb, well there was one occasion when coming out of a loop in quite a distance I brought her back when my brain tilted ... right rudder and she turns left? hm, again - still - that did work properly - she was still coming at me, full spin to realise she came at me nose-in at full speed - brought her round and enjoyed the rest of the flight ...

All flights quite similar nothing major, some figure of 8s, stationary tumbles, aileron rolls, loops, inverted pirouettes - ha and a bit of grass cutting with the 550 dfc - but was more annoying than enjoyable but now i can say been there done that - cleaning the blades wasnt fun and the adrenalin kick was way too stressful for me in the morning ...

so all packs done, just the new 2 Haiyin sticks left - put one together, took her to the flightline and BANG off the shoots into the air - well kind of, didnt give full pitch but those packs seem to have much more punch than the ones I am currently using so that was a bit different, all manoeuvres seem to work a bit better, and I was only flying in idle up 1 as I didnt want to go all the way on the first flights ... 2nd pack same thing - nice ... brought her in after 4.30mins and 52% left in the pack ...

so had 9 superb flights today and the day is still young ...

despite the forcast saying no rain, i had sporadic showers at our field, so it was a couple of flights between showers, then cover everything up until it cleared, spent about 4 hours going through this cycle, but managed about 17 flights (9 on the newly fubarred Gaui, 4 on the 450, and a bunch on the N5)

Hell yeh, goblin and 550 on new dsx11 as fresh setup and no dramas sweeeeeeet now try the rest when I get a chance proberly tomorrow hopefully.

Had a good day in the end, haven't flown for a few weeks so first flight with the 450 and I dumb thumb it in

So carried on with the 700 had 3 on that before the rain came. Packed up and went home.
Updated the Vbar in the 700 whilst recharging at home, sun came out so had 2 flights up the park,she flew lovely

I maidened my Warp 360 today at the club, then put two more batteries through it. Man that's a nice flying machine. I really want to get my DS95i for it now, along with some blades with white on them somewhere.

I also put a pack through my 450 sport and a couple through the 130X for good measure.

Had a few packs this evening with Shauny and our new 'twins' really enjoyable session. Now I'm off to tweak the vbar tail and fit a bigger pinion enjoy these pics
