I finally got to fly after almost six months of awful weather and my Rappy 50 that I have had that long and never even tried.

Did I ever!! pretty much dead Calm at Dunkirk Farm! 10 flights on both my Rappy 90 and the Vibe 50. Both back to perfick flyin nick! And Im a happy bunny cos I found some V blade V2's again for the Rappy! YUP YUP!!

Did have some issues tho the threads stripped on my Align pipe on the 90, so two longer bolts and 2 nylocks later that was sorted. But the Align on my Vibe actually sheared off!! Now either im an animal at tic tocs, or I weakened it the other week when I bent it in the crash. Im going for the latter LOL

Yes, windy like hell, even my logo had some problems. Probably won't fly again in a wind like that, although it was relatively enjoyable. Had 3 flights on 600sx and 4 flights on mini protos. 4th flight on mini lasted 30 seconds, unfortunately it decided to fail for some reason, looks like one of servo horns broke or flybarless system went berserk.

Lovely sunny day but the gusty wind is wearing a bit thin now

Had three flights with the 450 and quit while I was ahead as the poor thing was getting battered by the wind

It was nice and sunny but we had the same wind down here as well. I took my Hirobo SDX (flybarred) and Beam Avantgarde and flew quite a few flights but it was just an 'off' day for me. I hate it when I'm not flying like I know I can (and even that leaves much to be desired so I need to be in top form just to squeak by really). I have no idea why, I could blame the wind but it was just me I just wasn't firing on all cylinders. No crashes fortunately but I just wasn't feeling it, just wasn't jazzed about flying. But, so it goes and I'm sure next time will be different.

It was a useful day because I tried some TT 620mm blades I got recently that weren't too great on the Beam but work brilliantly on the Hirobo. I tried some lower headspeeds on the Beam, not super lower but much lower than before and it still flies very well and it's not hitting the packs as hard so I might be able to get another 30 seconds or so on the timer. It feels like the swash gain needs to come up now at the lower headspeeds, the flybarred Hirobo actually felt more stable today in the gusty conditions, partly because it's heavier but perhaps also I'll raise the gain on the Beam next time (which kinda makes sense with lower headspeeds as the rotor disc is less of a gyroscope).

Wind was pretty consistant blowing 8mph & gusting about 10mph. Enjoyed flying big fig 8's with the heavier 550 size Swift getting into compensating for the wind although last flight threw me a little when the wind dropped and went dead calm for a few minutes!

Flew yesterday evening with Chris(Barlow); put 7 batteries through my 450 waiting and waiting for the wind to drop before I'd maiden my 700e. Eventually I gave up waiting and just went for it with the wind at a constant 5mph.

My heart was beating out of my chest but I did it! Still smiling now >12 hours later. Hopefully I'll get to fly again this evening.

Thats not wind!! Ive flown my 90 in 30mph+ winds makes flying without wind SOOO much easier if you can fly ok in wind!

But im surprised that at Congleton it was windy, Just down road at Audley it was flat calm with the occasional little gust

5mph! Ha, I can fart against that for still air (just get enveloped in unpleasant aromas)
It don't count 'til it's mid 20'smph....
(as I pick up my 600 and look out at the trees bowed to the ground, the tractors and farm hands flying past......)

Had an awesome day. 5 packs trough the 500, 3 on the Gobin and 3 on the 250

Got my bits from Fastlads so hard dampers in the goblin which seems really nice. Thing is just flying awesome at the mo. Also replaced the tail blt idle wheel which was dud from day one out of the kit so much quieter in the air.

500 installed the fluro red tail fin. Made a big difference to vis in the air. Looks awesome. Pulled off a few half decent backwards hurricanes, inverted funnels and Autos so tested the limits of my skills and stayed in half decent control for once doing them :-)

Found some slop in the 250 DFC head so put some packers in to add some preload. Even it flew as good as it has today.

All in all had some great flying and went home with my helis flying the best they ever have.
