Got a new DFC head for my 450, just set it up and had a little whirl in the lounge. Shhhh don't tell my mrs lol

Flew 6 packs today in what must be the sunniest day for what seems like months!

Only one person at the flying field which was a surprise.

Can't get used to how smooth this Blade 450X is. Loving it.

Flew the 130x and nano outside today, clipped a bush with the 130x and my new pure white kbdd main blades shattered very brittle blades only had them on a few days, so back to stock blades which are much more durable.

if there plastic m8 they will be brittle in the cold

Blade ones are fine, the tail kbdd's also sheared after clipping the bed and that was inside in the warm, doesn't matter the blade ones work fine and it will hit other things in future, so no point buying fancy ones again

Just put 10 packs through my 450, new DFC head on, awesome conditions. Gotta say it felt really nice to fly, really precise if that makes sense? Felt so confident I even went for my first ever piro flip and all went well :-)
Loving flying at the moment, getting better and trying out new moves with every flight.
Roll on some decent weather over the weekend.

Had the Nano and 130x outdoors today, 10 batteries through the nano finally killed the motor (at least i think it's the motor) it has had 100+ flights though and i stuck the 130x in the floor quite hard so will have to order some bits

had 5 great flights on the 500, first for the year as been on holiday and haven't flown it for a month. Had the sim and mini cp with me while away so got plenty of time on that.
Orientations are really starting to come together. All the sim and mini cp practice has helped a lot. Felt really comfy on the 500 even after a month break. Even tried a few new moves that I have been practicing on the sim.
Nose in landings, instead of spinning tail on a stall turn was doing a 180 Aileron roll then a 180 elevator flip to get it right way up and nose pointing back down, sure there is a name for it? Also backwards circuts. Not pretty or smooth but got around. backwards flying is something I have been having real trouble getting my head around.
Anyway for a first day out very happy. Just need to remember to bring my shades tomorrow as got totally blinded.

Maiden the G4 today! That was after I reversed the pitch! I have never seeing a 700 take off with virtually no head speed at all! Got it down safe, reversed the pitch and was good to go.

I had 9 flights on my 700 today - first time loops on the 700 which caused some attraction in the pits ... unlike at the usual events they were close to screaming: "HIGHER" ...

felt good though, always had everything under control, should consider to use a bit more negative pitch in future

got a feeling my 500 however is up for sale soon ...

Flew my 130x for the first time in about 6 weeks! Wow, what can I say, time on the sim has really made a huge difference. Especially the new one I've got myself, a much more accurate representation of real life. I find it translates very well in the real world. I really enjoyed it, was trying some morphing transitions, forward flight, nose in and tail in hurricanes, piro flips. But my favourite manouvere was my first ever series of tick-tocks, nose in, tail in and aileron. a bit sloppy, but I think i needed to clean the tail servo. Also the inertia of this 130x is much less than the trex 700 I fly on the sim. Anyhow gorgeous day and amazing flight!
