Still, only flew the Mcpx & 130. Guy at the field had a quadcopter - 6 motors whatever they are called - and that was interesting.

Had 3 flights (1 x TRex600N and 2 x Velocity 90) before my hands were so cold I could not feel the sticks so packed up and went home (-2C in the wind chill in Lowestoft)

Cheers mate I wasn't going to do it after all the crashes that were happening but I thought sod it and just did it. I have been practising them all week on the sim.

i tried, got the hk450 out for its maiden flight , went on field , with his staiblaizers, on , throttled up , no wobble. yipeeee.
fiona stood watching , even more power , then disaster............

B****y coold!

I had 2 flights with a 450pro the 4 with a Raptor 50 then one with a Trex 600efl. On post flight check i noticed some fine white dust (like flour) on the left side frame at the rear end of the main gear cutout so no more flight with it then i finished the day with one more with the Raptor. It was a great day out (with a hand warmer in each pocket).

I just had the first two flights with a 3g on my 450pro after it been converted to fbl. I had issues with it. It wanted to go all over the place. I took the main and tail blades then spool it up on the bench and the swash jumped all over the place. I replaced the double side tape with other one then re-tried then it was fine. These controllers seems to get upset by vibration. Also everyone use different sort of tape also some has strapped tight, some just lightly while others has no straps at all. It is depend on your model.

If it's any consolation? It's chilly here in Spain too. Lovely Sunshine but chiily on the fingers. Had 4 flights with the Goblin 700, 2 with one 550FBL and 4 with another 550FBL. Getting my confidence back and doing backwards inverted circuits into some inverted Pie dish and a little forwards and backwards Hurricane. Still 3 miles high though. I also did 2 figure 'M's with quarter rolls using the Goblin along with the usual Rainbows forwards and back plus forwards and backwards loops upright and inverted. And some sloppy Piro flips.

i was out with the Southampton lads was a good day

i had 3 battery with my 450 did better at my stall turns and after my bad crashes 6 mouths ago i plucked up the courage and tired loops again did 5 are 6 nice loops not particular round but i was happy nice place to start from also did a flip and that flip was a lot quicker than the Sim ones so I'm happy i made progress today and my pirouetting circle failed 270 degrees round and it was looking good been on the Sim for 30 Min's a day trying not to mess about i think its paying off little by little
