No flying as at a sailing regatta in Shenzhen. 5-10 knots of wind and 29 deg. Should have brought my mini instead of just the sim :-(

Just got back from a morning sess with jimmyhorns, p4ddy, milly0812 and new guy Curryzz. I think we should arrange this every Sunday? :-) And good to meet you Paul (Curryzz) glad we could help get you heli setup and flying.

Well i had a hard landing with my Logo because i flew it after wolfy i didn't make sure i was in HH before i took off in a back flip. The gear switch is retracts on wolfy & gain on the logo so i was flying in rate 'which' is often do able but this time as i was bringing it in to land i lost the tail & for some reason i could not level it & in it went Bent link, dented boom, broken horizontal fin, broken tail pitch control links. All in stock at the heliroom shop upstairs lol. I knew i should have stayed at home lol

I had 3 flights today, all with the Knight 3D.

After ironing out a very minor build error, and doing a quick mod to the tail last night, im now left with a heli that flys

I met up with Milly, Discoferret, P4ddy and new guy Curryzz , for what I hope will be a regular weekend thing. It makes such a difference flying with friends, so thanks guys.

Glad we could put you on the right path Curryzz, with Don (milly) checking the setup and me programming the Dx8, it was great to see teamwork give you a helping hand. I was actually pleasantly surprised with your hovering.... there is nothing wrong with a bit of extreme hovering, especially when you are getting used to a new model.

My first flight was a little scary at times, but was basically just feeling the heli, set up right for the first time.

The second flight was mostly me remembering that I could run, or at least jog, but hadnt in a while, and quickly realising that I needed to slow things down and go back to basics.

The third flight was gentle all orientation (although only a hint of nose in) hovering, and some very slow gentle but controlled circuits. This was by far and away the most enjoyable of the day, and I truely felt in control, as opposed to the first two flights.
