That video clearly demonstrates why electric will never take over from nitro IMO. Not far off 12 minutes pure flying and 13+ video footage and not just tootling around either. Thats without mentioning the thirsty OS 105 pumped engine. And its not lean either, plenty smoke and nice sound yet bags of power. It would take not far off 3 12s packs to get this flight time. This has made me think big time about electrics in general. Ihave just purchased a logo and at the moment im sitting wondering why lol

I flew 4 batteries in my CopterX 450 this morning, after getting one kid to where they wanted to be. Then did; the vacuuming, cleaned the bathrooms, 3 loads of washing and dropped my other child at the cinema which then gave me time to fly 7 more batteries finishing just before 6pm to do the food shopping, some maintenance on our RC cars which we raced last night, and I have just collected one child after the bus only got her half way home. Oh the life of a single parent! Fantastic weather; fingers crossed for tomorrow.Ian Revill

5 lipos in the 450 with some grass cutting, 4 flights with the fusion with some sort of practice on my sets for the roots

along with Chris Newby giving it a go.

9am start for me this morning, and thought i would put the stop watch on to see how much flying time I actually do in the space of 2 hours (including setup and clear up), came out as 56mins of in air time, and i was knackered
still was early enough to catch the deer bounding cross the field.

just got back from the field ... had a little play with the quad, tweaking .. well then there it was again: the problem between ears ...
got caught in the wind (was really gusty), out of sight, failsafe, nothing to be seen from my angle nor noise .. throttle down back to the pits to go search it ... well .. "I can still hear it" the chap says and a minute later I could see in the air, returning home I thought lets take over control and keep flying - when it falls out of the sky - completely forgot that I had killed the throttle ...
then I took the 700 out ... still very gusty and uncomfortable to me ... drained all my packs - headed home ...
