Cracking day up at Phoenix Rotors today ... good turnout of about 6-8 of us .... 6 hours straight of flying in glorious sunshine

Had to work today grrrr but managed to finish at 4pm after working like a trojan, just been over the field to take advantage of the glorious weather and lighter evenings, put 5 packs through my little 450, really enjoyable to fly without your hands feeezing off, I seem to be more alert in the evenings too which always helps. All charging up now ready for tomorrow. Have fun peeps!

Ever had one of those days it just dont feel right? logo was flying lovely, moving the balls out to 19.5mm on cyclic has really livened it up but my brain just would not engage and i was overthinking everything. First flight was ok the second just hell so i listened to the voices and brought it down and called it a day. Bloomin shame but live to fight another day

I did and got a video. Nothing special as I have only been flying 4months but the first time I have tried anything other than circuits and inverted hover. Goes a little blurry in places, was taken on my phone.

Took my new Blade 550X out today and absolutely loved it. Flies beautifully and once I'd got used to the size (noticeably bigger than my Trex500), and adjusted the Expo down a bit from the manual settings, I found I really liked it. Smooth as you like, stable in the air and just a pleasure to fly! Happy days ...

That's some really nice countryside with the spots of snow still on the ground on the hillside.

Today was a little chilly but a big improvement. No TX mit needed, which is my guage of relative coldness these days.

I took the Rave and my newly pimped out Trex 500, which I was going to get some pics of but forgot my camera. The Rave was starting to annoy me to be honest. It's a tight squeeze getting LiPos in and out, then one of the RX packs I brought along wouldn't fit either and I spent ages fiddling with while everyone else was flying . I need to maybe re-think where some stuff is located up front and find some very low profile rounded bolts that won't snag and tear the heatshrink on the Lipos. I'm just getting used to it and I just need to find what fits and what doesn't and work with it but I was starting to really dislike it for a moment. It's still tentative whether it's a 'keeper' or not, I just need to be patient I think.

The Trex 500 totally redeemed the day for me. After a couple very tiny adjustments to the BeastX it just flies so so well and I started to really feel 'back in the saddle' after a long stretch of very little flying due to the weather we had until recently. So, overall a good day, the Rave is on probation until I figure out a good easy way of dealing with getting the Lipos in and out of the frames and strapped in etc. (if only, if only they would have made the frames just a few mm wider it would have made so much difference, right now it's a real F ing hassle).

Took the Diabolo out with the new Pyro750 and put 6 packs through it. Very fast and great fun!
A few tanks through the 700N as well.
Nice weather for a change.

At one point I was t-shirt today...but not for long...but certainly no coat or gloves needed.
I'me guessing other Rave users have your issue re batts...some sort of tray?
