I had a great 2015! I'm not sure I flew quite as much as 2014 (I had a real surge in the summer of 2014 putting in 20 flights a day a few days a week at the height of it!) but still flew quite a lot.
I entered my first 'bigger' comps - Helifest and Air, and due to a late entry, ended up in the 'advanced' category (sports were all sold out). . . Had to step up my game! CAme away with some nice results, but most importantly, took inspiration from the entries into the comps to really work on my flying, and saw results from all the focussed practice!

Spent much more time flying my G4 and E720, and became much more comfortable with them. 2014 had definitely been Logo (550, 600) year.

Had my best ever result in the final F3N of the year, which nudged me up into the 'pro' category for the first time ever! Also, I managed to take 1st place in the 'Sport' section of the league.

I reckon I also managed to talk some new people to enter the F3N competition (RichardV - I do hope you've been working on your set manoeuvres ready to kick some ass at the 2016 F3N comps. . .) - I guess time will tell. . .

2016 looks like it will begin with me trying very hard to resist switching to a Logo 690 from the Raptor. . . I flew one on New Year's day (Thanks for that Phil!) and it felt like slipping on an old pair of slippers. Such a nice model to fly - more like the 550 in feel than the 600, but with more power and presence. . . Sooooo tempting. . .
Raptor G4 - Radix 690s, OS 91HZ, Spartan Vortex v3, MKS HV servos, OptiFuel 20%
    Logo 600sx - Edge 603s, Turnigy 120HV - Scorpion 4035-500 - Mini Vbar - Savox servos
    Logo 550sx - Edge 553s, Turnigy 100LV - Scorpion 4025-1100 - Mini Vbar - Futaba 451/251s
    Blade 130X moneypit shelved

2015 was the year of progress! I'd gone from flying loops and rolls to doing stuff that could be considered mild 3d, I learned inverted flight properly too. I also entered my first comp last year, MK Grassroots, bloody loved it! finished 20th out of 25 so not last (which was my only goal apart from enjoying it!!)

I went through 3 different airframes, started the year with a trex 700e v2, went through an Avant Mostro (which made me upgrade all my electrics) before finally settling with an MSH Protos Max V2. I also made the big change and ditched spektrum and changed everything over to Futaba fronted by a 14SG.

At the very end of the year I also got into FPV quads with an Emax Nighthawk 280 pro and some fatshark goggles.....I suck at flying FPV! LOL
MSH Protos Max V2. Vbar Neo, Cyclone 715, zeal, talon 120
        MSH Protos 500 FBL. VX1e, Zeal 480
Trex 150. In one piece and flying well........for now!!
        Futaba 14sg

Like Petesky, 2015 was my first year flying. Unlike him, my first build was an Outrage G5 which I bought years ago and never got around to finishing. Flying started properly in the summer, and I progressed from the G5 to an X3 then to a Chase 360, with an MCPX (crashed a few times then sold) and a Protos 430 (still only about 30 flights) along the way. The X3 taught me slow piro hovers and travel, loops, basic eights, and how (not) to crash a lot. With the Chase I've got a lot more confident with flips and inverted flight (still not really worked out the piros or circuits yet though); I love this heli!

Come on 2016 and some decent weather (plus I have my eye on a DT600)!
