The new Blade 270cfx - What Lipo's & Where in UK ??

As title;
The 270cfx is available but it would seam there are no specific Lipo's available for this Heli in Uk at the moment…?
Lipos are available in the US but the Post + Tax is high. I did mail the local Online LHS who say's the same, no Lipo's for this in the UK at the moment.

Maybe too early but anyone with an idea of what Lipo's will fit this heli? Thx.

ps. I wasn't sure where to post this as there being no specific thread for the 230 or 270 at mo.

I reckon two of these Turnigy nano-tech 950mah 3S 25~50C Lipo Pack (UK Warehouse) side by side or one on top of the other with an JST-EC3 serial adapter or just soldered together could do the trick. I similar size, only slightly less discharge reate (23.75A vs 27.3A), longer flight time at probably half the price.

Ive now ordered the Blade 270cfx which should be at home on my return from work to UK end of this month. Has anyone else bought one of these 270's & if so, what Lipos are you using and where did you get them as, i am still not sure where to buy in UK?

I received my 270 cfx last week. I've been running it with some opti 1300mah that i've for a while but they won't fit under the standard canopy...so if fitted a warp 360 canopy instead! The bailout works well but it's been a bit too windy to really get a feel for it.

Without a doubt it will have crazy power. An OXY 3 running on 4S power is insane and on 6S ballistic as you say!

This will be way too long and way too heavy based on my experience with the Oxy 3.
The Optipower I linked to earlier is much closer to the stock battery Blade are recommending.

Yes, it's not a big heli at all really. If I was in the market I would be buying up those Optis while they are in stock at FL. Obviously check the dimensions match the Eflite battery. 6S batteries of this size are like rocking horse poo. Ask any 6S Oxy 3 owner!

I'd say with Beast X rescue, already built and setup out the box it's a winner. Insane power safely
