For Sale Section ??

The for sale section does seem to have dried up massively just lately - trying to sell anything, even for a fair price is hard work.

There does seem to be "less activity" going on, or perhaps more precisely - less interesting activity going on.

as said, it may just be a quieter time of year with school holidays & better weather etc, so perhaps it will return soon - who knows.

A lot of the more experienced pilots seem to be more active over on facebook, where good banter is still allowed and Trolls/idiots can be blocked.

Don't panic, just give it a month till the nights draw in and the arguments will start again ;-)

I agree, it's summer people are to busy out fixing and flying models to have the time for bitching on the forum.

as with anything on here... its always put to you guys first which way you would like the forum to go. If people don't like the setup as currently is then its down to the members.

Me personaly rarely use the forum anymore there hasnt been much if anything of interest to me on here in years.... if your not flying the latest and greatest people ignore you/shoot you down, its like your not allowed your own opinion....knowledgable people have given up and moved on,i could elaborate...but i wont because that would be a waste of time too

FWIW I have been a 'member' of this forum for quite some time but I dont post very often for 2 reasons.

1. I will gladly help others when I can but my knowledge/ability level is such that this doesn't occur very often !!

2. I am usually in need of help/guidance and I have to say that I have always been given quality advice in a friendly and timely manner for which I am extremely grateful.

I would hate to see the forum suffer or die as it is such a valuable resource.

The mods seem to do a difficult job well - its a thankless task. The other forums I am a member of include two FPV sites, four astronomy sites, two astroimaging sites and they are all equally suffereing in exactly the same way as this one - declining visits and generally less interest. They all 'blame' facebook - reasons cited include the ease of use and the ability to unfriend someone if they get up your nose!!

Maybe its just a sign of the times.

1. Post more Shit.. This will give others Shit to read..
2. Read more Shit.. This will give you something to post Shit about..
3. Refer to point 1 & 2....

I didn't start this thread to be negative, it was a general observation that there was not as many posts being posted.
Would be a shame to let it fade away as like most of you, I have made lots of friends and received a untold help via the forum.
So... "Start posting more Shit...."
