Right just an update, we have a good amount of entries now, we are going to continue taking some more entries as we expect we will have some fall out but we will have to cap it at some point, will let you guys know if we are getting close with the numbers.

Another thing to let you guys know will be that we have a weather contingency to hold it on the sunday if needed, so please try to keep the whole weekend as free as you can just in case, obviously if it is a complete wash/snow out then we dont want to cancel we will pospone the event to a later date, but thats all doom and gloom and that wont happen.

We have at phoenix model aviation full indoor facilities so you can charge lipos etc as you need them.

On the day we are going to want to start as early as we can, do to fadding light in the afternoon.
We will try to get the comp started 10 at the latest, we will allow test flights at between 9-9:30, this will be a quick test just to make sure your heli is ok, like max 1 min, as there will be 20 more or so waiting as well, then at 9:30 there will be a pilots briefing.
You must arrive by 8:30 at the latest and pilot booking will be between 8-9am where you will then give us your sets, these must be in order as listed in the grassroots sets list, and must be flown in this order too.
The sets round will be the first flown and will run through as cleanly as we can, if you have any heli problems you can be bumped to the back of the list so dont worry.
The freestyle will also be done after about a 15 mins break for score tot ups and a break for the judges, where we will have a demo or 2, then we will have a break for lunch and score tot ups again
In the afternoon will then be the finals and presentation and victory flight (carnage is a must)

nice one James. can i just add that we will be racking you guys up ready to fly with as little downtime between flights as possible,but at the same time will try to avoid putting you under any kind of pressure. we will set up a holding area where the next pilot up, will be ready to fly as each pilot flys his sets/freestyle.(all will become clear on the day) of course any tech problems let us know as soon as and we will bump you down the list to give you time..

Its fair to say we are overwhelmed with the support you guys/girls have given us and will do our best to ensure you have a great day.each and every competitor has our upmost respect, your all winners in our eyes.
