I'm feeling a 'teeny' bit calmer right now. I've been flying twice today & set my timer for 3min 30sec & it goes sooooo quick. Only 133hrs till pilot registration & briefing.

133 hours, I've got the grass to cut, the pits area to strim, the flightline to setup and practice my sets. Am I stressed? Not a chance

there's nothing to get stressed about
just go with the thinking that you'll take the honourable last spot
and then anything above is a bonus
and for a laugh i'd enter a 3d comp with my md500 and fly a scale routine
at least i'd get the odd clap or two

Theres still space Dave, 5 set maneouvres and a freestyle round.. doesnt say anywhere the freestyle has to be 3D

i'd confuse the judges with my sets
10 sec hover
360 piro
30-35 deg take off to 8m
10 sec observational hover
translational landing

and we'd need an extra judge to give the others a kick to wake them up
but on the plus side the camera man would have an easy time
