yeah that means all i need to buy is the lead for the TX to connect to the pheonix sim wooooo , does the TX need batteries in while on the sim or does it power up via the USB
My DX7 uses power from the USB, I presume yours will be the same..
Fantastic offer Gary, Well done sir..
Cool , i did have some 2100mah Energizer Rechargables for my apache but they were kind of in the TX when they nicked it , still nothing a few duracells wont sort out for now.

The usb lead is part of the package so with the Tx you'd have all you need. I have a futaba adapter as well if Stuarts radio requires that type of connector.
he says the TX he has spare is just a standard 4 channel that came with a heli he bought his son so im not sure if he has the cable but if he doesnt im sure i could find one on EBay or something . Still cant decide on what heli i want , whats the biggest size heli available without going to the extremes of the 5/6/7ft ones

The Phoenix I have comes with all the cables you'll need as long as the radio has either JR or Futaba buddy lead sockets.

Oh thats fantastic Gary. this means i can get plenty sim work done before attempting a maiden flight with whatever i decide on , you my friend are and absolute diamond.
I must admit i am totally over-whelmed with the amount of help and kindness people offer on this forum =)
Having just read your story my heart goes out to you. It's one reason I'm afraid to go over the parks locally myself, the fear of it. It's a sad day and age we live in I'm afraid.
It warms my heart though to see the kindness and generosity on these forums. Hope you recover quickly and please keep us posted on the flying. I'd love to hear how another newbie gets on, since I'm in the low end myself right now. Chin up mate, and don't let it get to you.
