Only try in real if you can consistently do it on simulator, meaning, you wake up at 7 am, hungover, and you can do it on the sim 10 times in the row with 15 mph crosswind.
That's what I was trying to get across, that it must be so drilled in and solid on the sim, not the slightest hesitation, not 4 out of 5 times, but really nailed. Because in real life it's always gonna be different and something will throw you a curve (plus the nerves kick in).

[QUOTE=dillwhacker;841315]The more you fix 'em, the better they fly!
[Trev why do you always seem to be inciting destruction. Buy yourself a Trex 500 practice on the sim and you will save yourself a bundle.
Keep flying its only a learning curve.]

Please concentrate Mr. Woody.I love 500s more than anything;that's why I've got 4 of them...
            1 to fly.
            1 spare to fly.
            1 emergency spare to fly
1 because unwind-protect bamboozled me into buying it as a spare..Good man..
TREX 500 is superb TBH as a learning tool - goes where you point it, and no questions asked, just stable, powerful & not too expensive to fix- I love them.
