Learning on a Logo 600 really isnt a wise move IMO; unless your pockets are filled with cash.

A Trex 500 is a much better learning tool.

I crashed my velo the other day but that was due to a faulty ball joint so it pi**ed me off even more!

If you get to that point where you are like "what am I doing?" get a sim and do that for a bit.

                    Thx Nico

part and parcel,i learned to a point with a 450 and crashed it 25-30 times, cheap to repair,i then moved onto a trex 500 and crashed it a bit less than the 450 but must have been 15 odd times, put the 700 in twice and the srimok once, dare i say that ive flown allmost every wkend since christmas with the exception of 1 or two and am crash free,10-15 flights every sunday so am expecting a big 1,best advice as sacko says is get a 500,fly it,crash it repair it fly it crash it some more and fix it some more

As a few have said, and I had said as well a while back, spend some time on the sim and then don't try anything for real that you haven't got down 200% on the sim first. So if you are only hovering safely on the sim without crashing, don't exceed that comfort zone in real life as it will just end in a crash and needless expense of money, time and stress.

Yes, some crashing is a part of the hobby, this is true we all crash now and then. But it can be very discouraging and expensive and so it would be very wise to get something cheap to learn on. I know there is the temptation to want the biggest coolest thing, totally blinged and top-spec'ed to the max and be the first on your proverbial block to have one or get 'ooohs and aaahs' when you go to the field, but forget all that and get something you can really learn on. It's all about flying.

Of all my helis my Trex 500 gets flown the most and it's nothing anyone is going to be impressed by, it's a totally stock 1st generation bog standard Trex but it is like a little golden nugget as far as I'm concerned. It may have been cheap to buy but it is in a very real way about the most valuable heli I have because I get so much use out of it (and the crazy thing is I never crash it! ) (...touch wood, just in case :-)

Stick to it mate! I'd recommend purchasing a 450 or 500 to practice on, much cheaper and less damage if they crash.
