  • Need Some Decision Making Help

Heya All, my first post on this furom, so Hello All,

Right, i am a beginner and i need some help on deciding on which heli to get,

either E-Sky Belt CP or Walkera 60, OR ANY OTHER BETTER HELI in the £100- 130 Range either 6/7Ch

Walkera 60 has 7ch where as the Belt CP does not, what does the seventh channel acutally operate?

as im a beginner im going to be asking alot of questions and how to's, so please dont be annoyed if i keep going on and on and on, i do know quite a bit on RC Helis, i think ive just about grassed CCPM,

also on the tranny, what does the IDEL switch do?

    Many Thanks
    Callum,

    PS,

The more people who say that Belt CP is worth getting or Walkera 60, i will be going on the communities word bassically,

forget all those, get a blade CX2. its a lot easier to fly, cheaper to crash, stronger and will easily fly in your front room

only down side is that unless its flat calm your not going to want to fly it out doors but thats the same of any of the helis you mentioned.

yeah im sorter thinking that way, ive heard about all the problems with the Walkera, so looks like Belt CP, tho i dont really fancy the CX2, no offense but it kinda looks like a toy more then a professional RC system,

tho i might get it, just for fun:P

        Thanks
        Callum

also, if i do get it, could someone run me trough CCPM settings, i know i said i thaught a knew about it, but i need someone to tell me instead of reading diffrent setups for diffrent rc systems.

the reason a cx2 has been suggested over a blade cp is because for learning to fly heli's stability is really important.

the blade cp will give u what seems like endless problems and will be very tricky to fly at first. if u like to fiddle about with ur heli's alot then u might enjoy the blade cp because to get it flying nice it will take a lot of tinkering, upgrades and mods.

the cx2 will give you a much smoother and enjoyable (in my opinion) learning experience. they are very stable which enables you to really get to grips with the controlls.

          thats my feelins!
          cheers,
          Tom

Yeah, I Agree, tho i do use a simulator, and i love to tinker and tweak stuff, so its kinda looking towards the Belt CP,

if you want to learn to fly get the CX2 if you want to spend more time fixing and have a long slow learning experience get the Belt CP.

the other thing is the CX2 tx works with phoenix.

Contra rotating small electrics are the only way for learning such as the Perkins stuff or the CX2

Even experienced fliers have fun with them and they will teach you a great deal, they are very comfortable indoors and are strong

The Walkera`s etc are just little sods to be honest

we had a belt cp at our local club sunday,as one of them owns a shop and tests thing they may think of selling and i must say most of us were very impressed for sutch a cheap package,in the hands of someone who can realy fly it was doing some impressive flying, altho i must say it was a calm day and how many of them do we have thru the year, alto im tempted for the local park etc but only when i cant use the raptor

Ok, Right, Maybe i should get both, then i can learn bits and bobs off the CX2, then train a bit more in the simulator, then i could try some hovering skillz on the CX2 and then Belt CP, or would i benifit from getting the belt cp, and then learning with a advanced pilot on buddy box?,
