Nobody has mentioned the blade 400 for most people i know who started this hobby including myself all started with this reason being its all there at a good price and only takes 5 mins for someone to check over at you nearest heli club before you try flying. all parts are readily available and cheap plus you can get the blingyy bits if you like. best bit is the dx6i that comes with it. Its a little more than you wanted to pay at £289ish but its nearly christmas(mum and dad) also if you have you own tx already they offer a bind n fly version for £179

worth the extra money in my opinion hope it helps.
