You can get lipo discharge warning devices such as this

    http://customidea.com/shop/product_i...roducts_id=102

this one is a fairly simple one that works on the voltage level across the pack, the voltage can be programmed into it , I use one of these on my Trex works well, ive not lost a battery as yet due to over discharging.

the other type you can get actually monitor the cells individually aurrora do one, but im sure there are lots of others around.
    All the best
    Tony.

One thing I did forget to mention, is I brought a couple of good quality screwdrivers with titanium heads.

The S/D that came supplied with the Blade is OK, but when doing quite a bit of work it quickly wears out, and from building PC's I know from experience good quality tools help no end with fiddly little screws.

Thank you Tony that looks the ticket alright.

I always check the LED in the cockpit as it glows red for about ten seconds before the power drops below lift usage, while outside I've got myself a digital timer and when I begin to fly again I'll countdown 10 minutes, so when it beeps I land, let it cool, and charge. But thank you for that info, I guess that can be used on the Blade as well as the Trex helis'

              hiya cambs flyer,
have your bits turned up yet?
iv'e had a great evening fly outside ,until ................a gust of wind caught the heli and WOW ..........i was flying the medevac inverted for a few seconds until........BANG,the heli head butted my workshop wall.
Broken bits are......bubble canopy, all 4 blades, inner shaft, outer shaft ,the fly bar and the rear boom.
              Not bad eh?
just spent the last 1/2 hour repairing it,all done now...can't wait for darkness and fly with the lights.
you should receive the items in the morning post.
going to buy another heli soon ,maybe the walkera e22,easy to fly.

Oh bloody hell mate that must have been gutting, I'm sorry to hear mother nature decided to give your heli' a hard time.

Notice how you couldn't use the word "chopper" in that sentence.

I have some shafts here and swash plate, there perfectly fine, if you need any of them just say, I also have the plastic lower rota assembly.

                Let me know Vince.

Have you seen this link mate.
