Did you get spare blades too?
I'm hoping I don't see a 'I turned it on and it flew into a table - waiting for spare parts now' post

        On the first flight?

Only if there's absolutely NO wind. Seriously, the CX2 goes mad in the wind - I had about 6 successful flights indoors without incident. Took it outside in a calm breeze and crashed it within 30 secs.

Back from my first flight and it went perfectly!
You lads must have nerves of steel, im sweating buckets here.
Right, on my first flight i successfuly flew up down, forward, backwards and turned around! I was flying a little circut in my living room.
I think my trims are sorted out, but its still not 100% steady. It either flies a little bit forwards when taking off or a little bit backwards, it also strafs a little to the left, not too bad tho.
I got such a hype of flying, its great!
The only crash i had was when i hit the light on the roof Didnt cause any damage tho! Wish i had a bigger place to fly!
Ill try it out in the garden when its a nice breezeless day.

Anyway, just letting the battery cool off now then going for another charge!
              Wish me luck.

Thanks heavens the bloody things turned up, I think scott would have burst a blood vessel by had it not.

Best of luck mate, hopefully yours was better trimmed than mine straight out the box, remember a hard landing if it's going towards something and you get in trouble is better than broken blades and bent shafts.

The fear of crashing soon passes when your more confident with your flying.

The CX2 can fly in a moderate breeze quite well, but! not until you have a few lessons indoors under your belt

                      And for the next thing, should i;
                      1. Buy extra battery, upgrades ect.
                      2. Buy Phoenix sim.

Well you could buy the extra upgrades...

Or you could just save your money for when you get a bigger outdoor heli now the bug has got ya

Oh and buy phoenix anyway - it's great and the CX2 controller works well with it

Buy yourself a set of upper and lower rotas mate, and be prepared for the occasional blade strike.

The upgrades cost peanuts, and you don't have to do them all at once, I'd say enjoy real time flying for the time being and forget about the next step just enjoy your new toy.

If you do buy something other than blades purchase an extra battery for more flight time between the long charges.

Buy another battery, some blades and a sim. Save the money that you could spend on upgrades for the 50 size heli your about to order

Ok helicopter trouble. Well, in every hover the blade yaws to the left, when when i trim it to the right fully. Iv read about the "sub-trimming," but i dont want to get into that as i just know ill mess something up. Solutions?

Make sure every time you start it all up (ie turn on the transmitter then plug in the heli) that the trims have been set to centred - that solved that problem for me
