Advice for next purchase of batterys 450SE v2

I would somewhat agree with asomaro on this. I think at that price, I would most definately consider trying one.

..but would be more than happy for anyone else to post their findings on this battery

Have recently bought some of the Loong Max 3s1p 'Tipple' 30c 2300 and can cope with 5c charge rates, so should be interesting how well these get along.

Can only agree... though knowing which cheap packs to buy is also a great help

I've used cheapo ebay packs and also a selection of the 'more known and respected' branded makes, and some of the cheap packs have outlasted, and performed better than the premium priced packs.

Lipo technology is always moving, and with the advent of the high rated charge capability.. and 'increased cycle life' I feel that prices are only getting more competitive, and ppl are now getting a better longer lasting lipo for what was available.. say last year from a premium labelled lipo at half the price.

Looking at the lipo from Heliguy.. They seem most confident in the pack from reading their description on it. I would have tried one.. but only just bought two of the Loong Max Tipple 30c Packs recently.

i have just taken delivery of 2 turnigy 2200's 30c's each one came packed in a bubble wrap envelope inside a small purpose made box ,they were balanced charged and had 11.60 v in them and the banana plugs are already fitted.hopefully it wont be to windy for the 450 at the weekend so i can try them out.

Well all 4 batterys have arrived from hobbyking and i can say i tried only 1 of them due to the weather, what i seen made me happy for now.

The full charge was 98 percent it dropped to 27 percent in 8mins 40 seconds from what i seen blew me away with the power difference too

Thanks alot for the recomendations and i will be ordering another 4 very shortly

Anyway while a bit bored i decided to make this to store the batterys old box from work along with some foam.

Lee,I must say that storage box for your lipos looks good.I might have to do the same here.
