            Hey Brin,

I hadn't actually thought what you would be using them for, just presumed for your heli well you know what they say about presumption!
Just reading my post back now i hope you understand i wasn't really talking about the ones i sold mate, just more generall observations of the brands from my own experiences and those of friends. I started with flightpowers and never really saw where the money was going. Which was why i stopped buying them but i wouldn't sell anything to anyone else in "our" hobby that i didn't truely belive to be in good working order. I know i dont have to explain mywself but i didn't want any conclusions been incorrectly drawn from that post.

alex absolutely no reason to explain mate ,the flightpower ones are very good for sport flying but i had already ordered some turnigy ones for the helis and as i already have some flight power ones i just thought i would get some more for my planes as i needed more weight up front and doubling them up solves the problem and gives me more flight time.

                      Batteries

I'm Turnigy all the way, unless you're into hard 3D etc which most people aren't. I'd go for the Turnigy or Rhino, I run the Turnigy 2650 30c's on my 500 and they are excellent, why pay more?

honestly?? No i wouldn't 2 reasons maybe the first should be said quitely
I dont use HeliGuy period! there attitude is not the most appealing shhhhhh.
And second that pack is a complete unkown! stick to what works and for that price you could buy 2 zippy's or turnigys which are NOT the same by the way. But both are good.

I hate to contradict a fellow flyer - but in the interests of fair play and a balanced view.......Lex7919 said that these are "untried" and of course he is right. However, I thought I'd give these a try and to be honest I've never had any issues with Heliguy and the price was very good and they mentioned that they are built by a company that they have been dealing with for 3 years - so in for a penny and all that.....

I actually bought 4 of the 25c 2200's. They were individually packed - correctly charged for shipment - and delivered within 2 days (before postal issues).

Since then I've only put three charges through each of them - and they are absolutely fine. I'm getting good flight times and the size and weight suite my 450 very well. They seem to maintain power well and re-charge without any issues but then this is to be expected so early in their life!

I guess only time will tell if the £18 per battery was a "sound" investment or not, but so far so good. I am keeping a record of the status and will give some more feedback after 30 cycles or so.

A while ago I bought 2 x 2200 Outrage batteries which cost the same as all 4 of the Heliguy ones - and I can't really see the difference at all (apart from the fact that the Outrage ones cost double, weigh more and are larger!)

I guess you pay your money and take your choice!

                                Cheers,
