Bad News!

After some serious consideration, i have decided to sell my barnd new Blade 400 3d.

I really take my hat off to you enthusiasts.

I just do not have the much required time and patience to do this, all i have done for the last few nights since i got my heli is set it up and fiddle, there is a lot to learn and i am just simply too ignorant to do it. I thought id be able to get it out of the box and go for it. So before i get carried away and take it out pretending i am Stringfellow Hawk and stuffing it i may as well let it go in 1 piece.

Well at least i have been honest, so all of my gear is for sale. I dont think fast lad will take it back even if i took some equity for a blade cx2. So other than sell the kit i have no options.

Honestly this is how much i have used this stuff, i have used the dx6i with the phoenix.

I have spun up the blades on the heli and clipped something chipping a single blade.

This hasnt even hovered.

The whole kit cost me around £500.

So what do i have?

Eflite Blade 400 3d, in box with everything bought last week from fast lad performance, fitted with 3 Hi-Tec HS65MG's.


Eflite Blade 400 cost £276 1 chipped blade so i'll include a new set of main blades Eflite@£8.79 for free.

I have the reciepts for everything.
I am prepared to split the items for sale. But when fast lad fitted the servos they took the screws for the old ones and the servo arms too.
I also have the original servos which i will fit to the heli. (no arms)

So for this less than a week old kit, i know i will take a hit. So please your best offers on the lot call me will accept cheque and will list them on ebay or you can pay via paypal whatever.

So as you can see the whole lot tallys up to £503.28. I will take £400 for the lot.

Brilliant set up from what i have been told for a beginner/enthusiast which i thought what i was, but have to admit i am not.

Sad i know but i should have really thought about this before just going mad.

I live in goole area but work in leeds so you can collect from me. I am prepared to drive within 25m of leeds ls115ln postcode or 25m from dn140al.

I am a genuine guy have met with Grant from leeds already he will vouch for me i'm sure. Any takers? will consider a decent nick (must be like new) bladecx2 or century swift in px too.

Will not split the servos from heli unless someone buyer can provide original servo arms.

Wow your only up the road from me and i wanted a blade not long back, wish i had waited now, as you say you will split what will you take just for the heli i dont need a tx as i have a dx6i already, would just need the heli and batt/charger

I'm less sceptical. Dipsta pm'd me a few days ago asking for advice as to which item to buy and I put him off the mini pred and on to the blade 400. I just think he's quitting too soon and needs to put some time in with phoenix before taking a £100 loss.

Same old story, people assume they are so clever they can master rotary flight in a day just like fixed wing. It don't work like that

This is why Plankers hate Heli pilots, it's just too hard for their tiny brains so when someone can do it they block it out

Coming into this hobby both eyes wide open is a good idea to start, assuming you'll be wringing it out after a couple of weeks or so is barking bordering on mental Again i'm not sure how hard he's tried but I get the impression he's had a couple of hover attempts that have failed and he's bailing out which just tells me it's lack of research full stop

I don't think anyone should give in that quickly. It's very difficult to fly the bloody things, and very rewarding when you pass the breaking point. I have been so close to giving up so often i can't remember. Don't give in.

That is a fair point, but a factor that is not mentioned is cost, there may be a need to recoupe the cost of the heli in the current climate, due to a change of circumstance.
