Yes - but do you know who you're buying from? Kyle who runs rc-hero.co.uk is very active on here (kylelnsn). He's at most shows in the UK and you can chat with him about what you want/need. His prices are pretty much always competitive and he posts stuff almost always for next day delivery.

I doubt you'll find a bad word spoken about him on here, but ton's of recommendations.

Can you say the same about an ebay shop?

            DSM2, yes. But not DSMX.

The DX6i, a new one is DSMX and DSM2 compatible yes. An older one will be DSM2 only, although you can send them in to have them updated I believe

Personally - I simply don't like to send my money to China for cloned technology. I prefer to spend a little extra, and support companies that invest in R&D.
Again somebody else that's missed my point altogether. Did I say that just because I have a Spektrum receiver that's failed that it means there are 'statistically' more of them that fail than the clone ones. No.
I was merely pointing out that people will moan if you buy a cheaper product/clone whatever you want to call it. And they will ridicule it and say that it's more likely to fail than a more expensive brand.
And lol at the China part....Where do you think most of the electrical/electronic components that we find in most of the things we use today in our houseldhold items for example are made?
My iPhone that I'm writing this to you from was made in China. Can you still read this message ok?
What a narrow mind some people have. Where do you think your computer was most likely made?

                      Few things ...

1/. Perhaps you could calm down a little? My post was simply a response to your quote "what does that tell you?". I merely pointed to the fact that a single failure means little or nothing with regards to extrapolations of reliability. I ridiculed nobody, you included.

2/. Yes, many modern products are manufactured in China. Unfortunately, far too many products are cloned in China too - with blatant disregard of copyright or patents. I made the point about CLONED technology quite clear in my statement.

3/. Personally I don't believe I have a narrow mind. I just like to support companies that DEVELOP and move the state of the art forward. That's my choice for my money.

                        Few things:
1\ don't tell me to calm down when I havn't said anything to you personal and you don't know me so have no right to tell me what to do

2\ I didn't say that YOU had ridiculed anybody. I said 'some' people ridicule others. So you have put yourself into the category yourself as I never said YOU did I?

3\ Again I never said that 'YOU' have a narrow mind. I said SOME people. So again you have twisted my words and put yourself into the category that I never even mentioned you to be in.

I don't say my mate owns a tx worth £1900, I said I've seen someone with one at that price. What my point is, doesn't matter what radio you have. If it works, it works and it doesn't matter what heli you have, if it flies, it flies. What I'm saying is, some people are putting off beginners that want to get into the hobby by telling them that they need to spend thousands when this isn't true

Please learn to re-evaluate something that a person has wrote a little more closely before jumping down my throat and writing a smarmy list that you would write to a child! And implying that what I said was personal to you.
I used words such as 'some people'
And 'they' meaning I was talking about somebody else in a third person context. I never used the word 'you'
