the shorter the servo arms, the less the load on the servo.
To create a given force in the pushrods, a shorter servo arm requires less torque on the servo (but more movement for the same travel).
The 700 isn't really designed for flybarless, that's the problem. The bellcranks are wrong, because they translate 1 mm of servo pushrod movement into 2 mm of swash movement.
not quite true, the best you can have is have them equal to the distance of the balls on the bellcrank. your right in that the bellcranks really need addressing. your placing excessive load on the servos with anything other than same distance as the bellcranks.....HOWEVER, that is not an option for us so if this bounce proves to be an issue then a firmware update is required or give us software to adjust it.
Ive heard that this will be an option soon. can this is whats needed.
TBH i think it does,some tail gyros allow pc connectivity for the ultimate in fine tuning,i personally feel a fbl system would benefit from allowing the end user to fine tune it to their setup.

The simplicity of the 3G is what makes it attractive. But it will need more..

I can see if others have the same frustrations on setups and initial flights on the system as is, it could have the opposite effect and turn off many from taking the leap into flybarless - when they need the box of tricks to fine tune it.
The geometery is essential a 1:1 travel ratio from servo to swash is a must - I had the same issue on my velocity and by bringing the servo horns in to achieve a 1:1 ratio.
I know its an Align system here - but I would recommend that you read and play with the other pages.
