The software will crash after a bit if its not plugged into 3gx as its waiting a responds but don't leave it plugged in to 3GX whilst going through DIR mode.

Just to add to what Tourerjim has said, make sure your media player is up to date as well. In the past it appears some software crashes were through this as the spinning 700E model animation needs this media player being up to date or else the software kept crashing.

Good luck with it, and I mean that in all seriousness. For the money I wish they did work well as I'd buy them for the same models too. But the flying characteristics are so poor it's hard to keep them on a model. I've tried 3 times on 3 separate machines using various software versions over the years and just cannot get on with them. From the poor tail and pitchy'ness to the completely unconnected feeling it's just a really poor show. I'm no 3D god, in fact far from it, but when I can notice how bad they are with my poor repertoire of moves there has to be something wrong somewhere. I've tried just about every flarbarless system going and I always come back to the good old Vbar.

Don, I have some paperwork on programming it if you want, but to be honest as posted earlier, the "Freddie can fly" vids are all you need. If I could do it when I had mine, there will be some mighty pee taking if you can't work it out.....

I have to take the front servos out to redo the arms which worked fine on the vbar because there is way too much subtrim if I don't for the poor little 3gx and I've got to dig deep to find the skills I've forgotten cos it's like setting up a flybarred Heli all over again but without a flybar ???

I was kinda hoping it would be a happy ending, a "hey this thing is really not bad for the money" kinda thing, and I'd be encouraged to try it on my 450.

Well I went thru the setup tonight and it's ready to test fly. I still need to read up on how to adjust flip and roll rate but my poor little 450 is bricking it lolI doubt I will get a chance to try it til at least Sunday but will keep it in the van just in case
