flybarless benefits?

Hi guys just wondering if there is any benefits to going flybarless or having 3 or 4 rotor blades ?

Is it just a case of changing the head ? Any adjustments need to be made on the tx /servos /gyro would you need a new gyro?

Just do a quick google search and you will find all the info you need. Needless to say this topic has been covered a lot and converting to flybarless will require a new head and FBL gyro as well as a complete setup on your Tx/model

I prefer FBL over flybar it's far smoother in operation and I think more stable in windy conditions , it's terms of moving to FBL you will need a flybarless controller a new set of head parts , the FBL controllers will have the gyro built in, in terms of txer set up then yes you will need to make the required changes again dependant on the FBL

i modified my blade 4503d to be a 450x relatively straight forward , PM if you want more details.

That's bollx There are pro's of the flybar i missed last time i flew. Everyone say's FBL handles the wind better but i strongly dissagree. Flying Vbar in the wind scared the crap out of me & that was in half the wind speed i can fly with a flybar fitted. You loose the natural skill of them tiny adjustments for a steady hover too. I think personally i'd like to have a 2nd Logo to fly with the flybar fitted to keep me happy

Which pro's are they Paddy, why did it scare you flying in the wind what happened. Flew nothing but flybarless for 3 or so years and I've never been scared in the wind, quite the contrary.

I took off & it was getting beat to sh1t by the wind & i thought i was going to destroy it trying to land. Never had that with the flybar as i felt 100% in control. It made me consider sticking the stick back on but then i've not flown since then anyway. And Sev yes it fly's piro flips itself, it piro's inverted itself, no skill required, it neatens up slight imperfections (maybe caused by interactions on flybarred) which i suppose gives the feeling it's taking over somewhat but then newbies wouldn't know that feel as all they've flown is fbl.

Well I'm no expert, but I've flown FB and BeastX 550s this wekend, otherwise identical, and I reckon the FB one is much more inclined to be pitched / rolled / bobbled up and down by gusts compared to the BeastX.
I commented out loud to mates a couple of times "I can really tell it's flybarred".
Just my opinion...
