This thread really makes me want to own a Spektrum
It's only the AR9000's that have the issue, I believe they've replaced the capacitor with a surface mount jobby on the very new ones, UK stock is prolly still the old ones though...
one of these days they will surprise us all by releasing a new technology that is fully tested and in perfect working order prior to release.
and Janek is dead right, how come their bad design can cost US money, if you get anything else thats faulty its normally replaced, but it seems if a radio product goes pop the damage caused comes out of the owners pocket.
