DX8 is my first and only TX, found it a great introduction to flying Heli's and found the setup screens and graphical LCD display easy to use when I new nothing at all about anything to do with heli's, I have never used another TX so cant compare.......but Love it anyway,

I'm liking mine, but I'm still not 100% confident in it, but I guess the more I use it, that will fade away.
            Cheers,

I'm getting more used to mine now. I don't have anything to compare it to but I was finding the center "stop" too severe. But the more I fly with it the less I notice it.

Mines been a nightmare, poor rudder centre with constant fluctuation on channel, dodgy alarm if vibrate used caused servos to move uncommanded plus range issues which thankfully have now been sorted after returning it to Horizon but still had two crashes before it got sorted on my best models as it wasn't given as a warning from the manufacturer until too late.
My old Futaba NEVER gave me these problems and even bought a DSX9 Mk2 whilst mine was being repaired and surprise it was solid straight out of the box, no drama and not having to chase the tail and servos proved that the JR kit is built far better.
Guys you may think yours is okay but do the checks everytime you fly particulary "RANGE" as I wouldn't want the same happening to you and watch your transmitter battery level too !!

Can someone be kind enough to list the 8 Wing Types and 5 Tail Types are available for nearly all aircraft types (according to the review) of the DX8, trying to decided whether DX8 is suitable for gliders or not ??

                    Many thanks in advance

After my recent issues and despite loving the feel of the DX8 I am going to go back to the DX7 until I am sure the DX8 wasn't the cause of my crash. Am hoping not as I really like the DX8 as a Tx, feels great and is so easy to use and set up on.

Everytime we get a report of an issue blamed possibly on the DX8 it seems its a FBL heli. Not sure what to make of that, a bug dealing with a Satellite without the RX maybe?

I think that's a very, very good point.

It's possible that the data format from the sat Rxs is slightly different when talking to a DX8, and this is upsetting 3rd party kit receiving that data. Welcome to the fun world of proprietary systems and interoperability...

I'm reckoning on using a Skookum with a DX8 in this sort of configuration, and I'm wondering if I should hold back...

Loving my DX8. I particularly like the telemetry - gives me plenty of notice when the pack is running down. I just find it a bit odd that you can't set different low voltage warnings for each aircraft - it is one global setting, unless I missed something? Just as well I only have one heli that needs it (at the moment!)
