Had a little bump on Sunday with the 450 when it appeared to lose signal 50 yds out and 10' up.
The AR6100E RX is mounted above the bottom tray with the aerials poking straight out each side so would have thought its about as good as it gets.
It did a bit of an uncommanded wibbly/wobble with either partial or no control.
I just managed to hit Th hold but uncertain whether it actually did go to hold. Damage was light so looking over the model the only thing amiss was a stripped 65MG gearset/blades/Mainshaft and a TT gear and all appears to work ok.
Am I correct in saying as the RX light was still solid its indicating that the voltage had not dropped away? BUT does this rule out lose of signal or just relate to the voltage?
Not impressed as Ive flown this model for 2yrs without a Glitch using FASST
TX is also a DX8. One from the vibration Alert affected batch which shows no symptoms of the issue and is well flown now..
Model went down mid-flight (when no alarm is activated) have also flown it a fair amount with full range AR8000 with flight Logging.. and again straight afterwards with my 550 Hybrid with no issue.
Are the parkflying RX's prone to this as Ive always used full range RX's with Speccie till now.
