  • DX6i glitch

On saturday I was fixing my 450 and at one point I put my TX down as I laid it on the bed it started flashing and beeping as if it had low batterys or had been switched on with TH hold or something anyway during this I picked the TX up again and it started beeping again only to switch heli model to my 600. I didnt think much of it and put it back into the 450 model and ressumed on to the 450.

About 5 minutes ago I decided to raise the swash on my 600 to get a little more pitch anyway I switched the TX on and then the 600 and played with the sticks as I normally do just to check etc and I noticed that all wasnt right, what has happened is my I apply throttle/pitch the swash leans forward as if im using the right stick and when I pull back the swash moves backwards again and its the same on the right hand side, I move ail left and right and its fine but if I move forward the swash moves upwards and again same if I bull back the swash goes down.

If I reverse Elev in TX it sorts the throttle/pitch out but it reverses the actual Elev on the heli.
This is all very strange and has reset my trims and thorttle hold but hasnt touched the sub trims, travel adjust or anything like that.

Ive just checked my RX and the plugs are all correct, no one has been tampering with my TX or 600.

No doubt if I copy the settings and move to a new model it will sort the issue but bolders suggests I send it to HH.

Don't you think is really wiser to send it back to HH, Satch? You definitely don't want that happening to you in the field or worst case, while flying right!

Some how looks like the electrics in the radio are getting/got messed?

I know its best to send it to them, was a case of seeing if it had happened to anyone else :/. I truly dread to think about what could of happened when flying.

Ive created a new model with the exact same settings and its still the same, plugged the 500 up and thats all fine, very strange.

        Small update:
Ive farted about with the settings for a few minutes almost got it corrected after changing swash mix and reversing servos but man this sucker is going to HH to get sorted.
Really dont understand what could of caused this, I havent dropped it ive taken good care of it aswell, guess its sods bloody law. Well im grounded for flying until I get it back, im not risking it at all.

would this happen if you accidentely changed the mode from say 2 to 4? I'm unfamiliar with the dx6i but I think it might be possible.

No I don't think so mate :/. It takes abit of navigation on the tx to be able to accidently switch models. As I said it appears to have only affected the 600 and that has the ar7000 rx in it maybe the tx has got some sort of hatred against it all of a suddern.

Thats basically what it has done, reset the swash. Going to enquire with hh when I get home. Was looking forward to getting some backward circuits done this weekend with the 450 :/.

What's the best way to get in contact with them?
