I'm afraid you need to setup a new model and setup the model afresh.
You cannot copy the settings over. They may be slightly out.Jaco

OK - well, what I will say is that, having gone from a DX6i to a DX7, the changes were, IMHO, quite daunting. Furthermore I found that I had to completely re-do my pitch curves to get the same physical pitch on the heli.

Start with the DX7 from scratch. Assume that none of your DX6i settings will work.

My GY401's tend to be in the low to mid 70's but a few others are higher.Kasama, Minicopter, Henseleit, JR, Shape, Beam

+1 - I found exactly the same going from DX6i to DX7.Originally posted by Mart61 View PostOK - well, what I will say is that, having gone from a DX6i to a DX7, the changes were, IMHO, quite daunting. I suspect you'll need to have it higher on the DX7.
It depends on if you have it set to gear using the travel adjust or to gyro which will be an actual gain setting.
A while back someone did some setup work on one of my 450's using a DX6i and I'm pretty sure I had to bump the gain setting from like 78 to almost 90 on this particular gyro (Gulang 700).
The safest bet is bump it up a bit and keep raising it til you start to get a fast wag and then back it down.Kasama, Minicopter, Henseleit, JR, Shape, Beam
