I can't quite remember how I used to do it but i think it was like this
Here goes nothing
gyro output switching should be either ch5 or ch7 use ch5.
rudder offset -100 to +100% and is on ch5.
Set these to say -50 one side of the switch and +50 on the other side
of the p.mix (ch.5/inv) switch. one side should then be hold and the other rate mode.
Please if anyone disagrees with this please chime in! as I said above it's a few years since I programmed this radio and I am getting old. Come to think of it rate gyro's were a new gimmick when I bought this radio never mind heading hold.
And of course my disclaimer.......................Trust no one.
