Apparently although VAT has been reduces, prices have increased due to the exchange rate ! LINK: http://www.macgregor.co.uk/12_News/1208news_1.htm
    Thanks JR/MacGregor.
The release date is sure going to clash with 'christmas day', but I'm sure they thought of that ?
I think at this price Futaba 2.4GHz FASST is sure starting to look far better value.

My guess is rechecking the latest pricing of the Footaba stuff

Confuses the hell out of me why there is a difference in price between 35 and 2.4? Why bother producing the poxy thing in 35 in the first place, especially now in the current climate!!

3 x the price of the 9xii? What does it do over and above to warrant an extra £1000?

            got mine on order.

that blue light will make all the difference.

we don't have any probs with import stuff here. since we kicked out all the fixed wing flyers piece and harmony exists.

I realise this is what most of us feel.

Then of course there is an accident and the set isn't CE marked and all hell breaks loose...

I just fail to see how anyone can justify spending that sort of cash on a Tx when something 1/4 of the price does pretty much the same job.

Unless you are flying Jets there is no justification at all apart from mental instability or it is making up for inadequacies elsewhere, possibly in the trouser dept

                      so what happens now

there is no CE mark on my current TX, that sticker rubbed off ages ago.

are they marked anywhere else ??

just to clarify this CE business. the police impound all radio gear in the event of an accident and to my knowledge the CE is stamped inside on the module aswell.

there is absolutely zero justification for a 1500 quid TX as mentioned but then if we all drove 4000 quid cars life would be boring as thats the same reason some buy expensive tx's. i personally have a 14mz which is now 2000 quid rrp so the 1500 quid looks a bargain...........atleast until you compare it with the 12fg.

                          cheers

                              Well i'm scuppered then

looks like i'm going to jail if i smack someone.!! the sticker has worn of my TX and he Spektrum module has no CE mark. I suppose cos i bought it all at the local shop that they will back me up in court.

sounds like a load of old bollox to me, i ain't binning £500 of gear for the sake of some stickers.

mind u if i use it as a buddy box when the 12x get here i can blame he kids
