Tim you are now pushing the point too far

I'll stick with my old Mac which still oozes quality but may be a bit limited and tired and let you keep your boring shite mish mash of parts running a poor at best copy of OSX that's still bolted onto the top of DOS v. 37.9.76.765. Exactly the reason I use this old Mac and my wife gets the far newer cheap and very nasty beige box in the front room

No, and for your interest Ade, I am regularly flying F3B gliders over 1Km away on FaSST, as well as my helis and fixed wing.

thanks simon, i got a 12fg in the end. running a 617 in the sting and flew it on the limits of vis at low altitude with no issues.

                im convinced.

the 12fg is a magical radio for the money.

I've been running a 12Z for a couple of years (35MHz/2.4) but just got an FX-30, which is a 12FG in different clothing. A bit cheaply made but I like a tray style radio, having used an FC-28 since the early 90s

i am keeping a close eye on this.
myself and a friend are waiting to see the out come, as we both are looking at the new T10cg 2.4.
recently i done a similar post on the same subject.

the modern futaba RF modules work differently to the old way. they used to take the PPM signal from the radio internals then convert that to pcm or 2.4 or whatever.

the modern stuff takes a digital signal from the tx internals then does with it as it needs. this means a lot lower latency.

Just get the futaba 2.4 module for your 10c certainly not worth upgrading your radio over.
