Futaba 7c FAAST 2.4GHz - Battery Drain

Hi

I have got my 2.4GHz 7c set and its great apart from the fact that the stock nicad pack that came with it seems to have shocking performance. I can have the set turned on for literally 20 mins from a charge until the low voltage alarm sets off. Is this a known problem at all or have i just got a dud battery pack?

If the battery pack has been fully charged then it sounds like a duff pack.
How has the pack been charged?

well i charged it for a bood 6-8 hours so i presume its fully charged.

It gets its charge from the tx charger that came with the kit so maybe its just no good.

That battery needs about a 15 hour charge. (It says so on the battery. Remove the back cover and see.) Leave it on overnight. The screen should display about 11v from fully charged.

6-8 hours should give you longer than 20 mins though it wont be fully charged which could be your problem. Give it a full charge tonight and it should be fine tomorrow. If not, you have a problem.
