I seem to remember someone put up a post with the settings on their TX they were using for the B400. I want to compare them to my own but cant find where they were posted.

Any ideas where I can find it?

    Much appreciated.

Just seen you have dsp 75 servos are they all round? and are they much different from the stock, reason is i have just replaced one servo with one of these as no-one has any gears so aleast it gets me flying.
My lms said there should be little difference .....

Yes Spoony mate, the dual rate and expo settings. I remember they were posted not so long ago.
I had DSP75 servos on all but rudder, which still had the original servo, but stripped one with a gleeful landing t'other day! I've just replaced the aileron, elevator & pitch servos with HS-65HB servos, (all Fast-Lads had in stock),and have just read the handbook and am now wondering if these need to be used with the 'Servo Mode' selection in the DS position or the standard. If they are DS then I'll need to replace the rudder servo 'cos its a 'standard'.
Hmm, such fun to be had with these heli things.

confusing this one ghostly. first of all the tail servo is digital but wont take the digital setting on the gyro so leave that in standard mode the rest of the servo's are unaffected by this so they are ok.

expo settings are a matter of personal taste so you can really set them where you want and experiment with the feel of it. (i would start around +20% and work from there)more makes it less sensitive !!! around center stick and vice versa.

d/r is also not esential but set position 0 to 100% and position 1 to 80%

            0 being full servo movement
            1 being 80% movement

              Thanks Boggy.

I'll have a look tomorrow what mine are set at, quite a few of our club flyers have had a play with the TX. I'll post what they are and you can give your opinion, it would be appreciated. I was hoping the post was from a guy who said his flew OK, and was going to compare them. I seem to remember the DR is set at 0= 65% +25% & 1=100%+25%, I'll check tomorrow. Like you say though everybody has their own preferences.

As you know I'm still a beginner and dont have a lot of spare time for this practising thing, I only get to fly about an hour a week, so it'll take me some time.

whoa nooooo nooooo those settings are for your sim i assume rob. ghostly is looking for blade 400 settings.

expo at 100% ??? dunno what that would be like
gyro rates are for rate only you need at least 62%
stunt throttle curve needs to be higher in the middle(preferably straight line. i like 85% for messing around)
                  swash type 3 servo's 120 degrees

easily done Rob it hapens all the time! the full settings are..

                    d/r pos 0 100% expo as req"
pos 1 80% expo as req"

travel adjust 100% on all exept rudder=90%
all sub trims 0 (perfect mechanical setup! )

                    gyro sw=gyro
                    pos 0 73%
                    pos 1 64%

                    throttle curve
                    norm pos L 0%
                    pos 2 23%
                    pos 3 43%
                    pos 4 67%
                    pos h 100%

                    stunt pos L 85%
                    pos 2 85%
                    pos 3 85%
                    pos 4 85%
pos H 85% you can up these all if you want higher head speed but 85% gives a nice speed for ff figure 8s etc ( will need higher for stall turns loops etc)

                    hold 0.5%

                    pitch curve
                    norm pos L 35%
                    pos 2 43%
                    pos 3 50%
                    pos 4 75%
pos H 100% this will give lift off about mid way between half/3 quarter stick)

                    stunt posL 0%
                    pos2 25%
                    pos3 50%
                    pos4 75%
                    posH100%

                    hold 0%

                    swash mix airl -75%
                    elv -75%
                    pitch +85%

                    channel reverse
                    thro N
                    airl R
                    elv N
                    rudd R
                    gyro N
                    pitch N

swash set to ccpm 120 degree's
                    throttle cut inh
                    dr/combi inh
timer set as req .. switch=throttle cut
                    power A-EU 328

those are standard settings ghostly your cyclic channels in the reverse menu will probably be opposite with hi tec servo's and you may need to tweek your swash mix to get proper swash movement.
another thing i noticed is you have your d/r settings the "wrong" way around. its purley personal taste but i prefere to have all the normal flight settings so that the switches are all up. eg pos 0 at 100% it makes pre flight checks easier as you just flick every switch up and your ready!
