What I was planning was to have the hold on the RH top near, with the Trn switch as is. The Flight mode switch LH top near, and rudder d/r LH top far. Also I want the Hold switch to be a short type.

So I’ll use the current Rudder d/r switch as my hold switch moved to the RH top near. Take the Flight mode switch over to the LH replacing the Rudder d/r switch. Connect the current Hold switch as Rudder d/r.

My gallery has a couple of pictures of the current layout:-

Trying to find a picture of the x9303 heli version, but can’t find one. If it is the same then maybe a label does already exist.

Yeah but you get the 9 channel receiver with it though.

Its a better deal than Inwoods are offering.

I've had a quick look and if you are moving a 3 position switch to the rear, there is no "easy" way of re arranging the cables (Because the rear switches are on the rear case assembly and a single cable harness).

If it was just migrating switches from left to right (& vice versa) it is easy just to pop the connectors out of the harness and refit them in the new position.

Does the new DsX9 balance properly when used with a neck strap unlike the spektrum DX7

Can model memories be sent from a PCM9X2 to a DSX9 without having to buy Data Exchange or reprogram?

Yes I used a buddy box lead and transfered the models over

Found a picture of the US version on RCG which is basically the exact mirror of the switch layout we have. I am used to having hold on the front though so I don’t know if just swapping them over will work for me.

After using this radio a bit this week on Phoenix its extrememly nice!
The JR programming is so easy to use, have barely needed the manual at all.

Anyway the first thing I have discovered is that you can asign the Rudder D/R switch as you hold switch. The means that I only have to swap the Flight mode & Rudder D/R switches over exactly as Pete did.

First problem, I can't undo the switch nuts!!

                          Tim.

                            Job Done,

It isn't hard, but you DO need to be good with a soldering iron, have steady hands and reasonable eyesight!!!
Have to agree with this one though, space is quite tight.

I made a little tool to remove the nuts on the ends of the switches.

First I unsoldered the switches after making careful note, which wire came from where. I used a piece of regular servo wire as my link wire.
Soldered two wires to the Flight mode switch, then connected the ground and reinstalled it.
I used the third wire to connect to the Rudder wire, heat shrinking the joint.

Feed the link wire across to the Rudder D/R switch.
Soldered this onto the switch & also the ground.
Finally connected the two Flight mode connections, one I made direct to the circuit board & the other using heatshrink.

Just tested in Phoenix & seems to work ok, which is nice!

                            Tim.

What does the in/out on the pitch or throttle curve screens mean?
I can't find any Ref in the manual. Anyone know?

                              Thanks
