Just reading through the BMFA hand book and noticed on page 68, headed "The 2.4ghz band", it recommends this band is only used indoors due to poor range issues! I have been led to believe this type of radio equipment was the bees knees, and cuts out glitch issues also.
I do not know enough about this to make my own guestimations on what is better, but is this a problem or not? Up until now I thought I had made a mistake when I purchased a 35mhz set and considered changing to 2.4gig to solve my glitch issues.
I only fly a small heli so it never really gets too far away, so maybe it would be ok?
