I was playing around earlier with the Whiplash and a bluetooth unit for the VBar and noticed that something didn't quite seem right with one of the US model JR8917HV servos on the cyclic's.
Every so often the servo would just stop altogether and moving the servo arm would then make it work again.
Initially I could only get the servo to fail a few times in about an hour of fiddling but couldn't take a chance so got the servo tester out managed to get it to fail much more often.
Ended up pulling the servo out and stripping it down.
Looks like the coreless servo motor is knackered.
Anyone know if this part is available for a DIY repair?
If not it looks like I'll have to order one from the US as these servo's are not available over here.
