Not according to their specs you can't. Six volts yes but not 8.4, the question would be yes they might go for a while but will you see any advantage apart from no regulator in the circuit

yep, The servos are only rated at 6v tho, but I have used them on direct lipo with no ill effects before, Just be aware that your warranty will be null and void if using direct lipo instead of regulated 6v

I'm trying to set up my practice machine iv brought a velocity 50 n2 air frame with some spears for £125 witch I thought was a bit of a bargain so I'm trying to build it up cheap as pos iv also got a os55 with the os pipe and vortex i might pinch the servos off of my 600 e pro.i read about that people had ran ds 610s straight from a 2s lipo and thought I could build it a little cheaper but my receiver packs are align batteries they have those red connectors on could I put one of these on http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/quan...4-p-15434.html thanks

I think I should just get one of those 2 in 1 regs for the sake of £30 odd

Why not get a LiFe battery. The 610 and 650 will be fine. and cheaper than a reg, and WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than the align 2 in 1

Nominal voltage 3 min into first flight with a 2100 pack (2s) is about 6.6 v will drop to about 6.2 under heavy load.
SWRCH , Oh.. And a Helix 700 Gasser, Hv with SK540.....with SAB HPS head.

Whichever connector you prefer. I use ec3, then on the "Heli" side, I extend one of the cables, cut it where i want to have the "Switch" and fit bullet connectors.

fully charge it before your first flight.

After your first flight, charge it fully again and note how many mAh you put back.
this will indicate how many flights you can have before charging.

And most LiFe are happy to charge at higher rates than 1c too
