Which gyro for a Trex500?

I think the CSM 720 is pretty large for the 500 TBH.

The 720 fits okay, i'll accept that you wouldn't want much bigger and compared to the GP780 I'm now running it is a bit on the large side.

Thanks for the comments guys. It seems from the different replies that pretty much all the top gyros are the mutts and all will be way better than I at controlling the tail

That's good that I can use the Flash link but I have decided to do a swap... I'll put the 401 on the Vibe as it gets flown gently and take the Spartan off that for the 500. Job done and no cash outlay. Result

Maybe you could consider the GY520 after all, it is Futaba's own 401 replacement.

Also, IMHO a VBar conversion would give you a completely new dimension, but that doesn't really answer your original question....
